I need new brushes and was looking at the 12pc set. I saw a couple reviews on the site that said they were hard. Has anyone here used them?

I really like the all over face brush, it's really soft, and the foundation brush. I use their shadow brushes practically everyday. Their blending eye
brush is my absolute favorite. The eyeliner brush and the concealer brush were the only hard ones in the set.

I've only used them a few times, but they aren't horrible at all. They can be a tad bit scratchy, but I barely noticed it.

I haven't tried elf brushes but another cheap brush alternative is coastalscents.com. I have loads
of their brushes and I love, love, LOVE them.

I love my ELF brushes. I also have a Coastal Scents brush set and they are fine too.
