My face is itching like mad. I've got hives all along my jawline and on the inside of my arm. I haven't done this since I was a little girl. WEIRD.
Breaking out in spontaneous hives is getting old...FAST.

I know I ALWAYS say this when someone mentions hives but that REALLY sounds like urticaria. Get some Zirtec down you and go see a dermatologist.

I'm going to take some hydroxyzine (Atarax). Urticaria is synonymous with hives, but there are several different types of urticaria.
When I was a little girl I had chronic idiopathic urticaria, but I haven't had an outbreak since 3rd grade! |

My mother has gotten bad hives from anxiety. Thank goodness Benadryl helped her.

Wait....is this what I have on my face? I had a blotch of itchy/dry skin on my face in late winter and I kept scratching it absentmindedly, thinking it was
just dry skin and I was scraping it off. But then I used a face scrub and it became super red and irritated....the doctor gave me some cream to heal it and
I've been using it for almost three months but it's still kind of there, and when I don't use it for a long period of time (around 12 hours) it
starts getting itchy and red again......

I had a summer about 8 years ago where I broke out into hives every day. And then it just went away and never happened again. It was the weirdest thing.

Its a skin condition where histamine is released into your blood and you come out in hives (it can be triggered by lots of things, heat, exertion, stress etc),
its really hot and itchy too. As someone said, there are different types, I have cholinergic and its a pain in the arse. UV light treatment REALLY helps
though. Click
