Janet had her own career to tend too. It's not her fault she wasn't there to hold Michaels hand throughout the years. He was a big boy and she probably
figured he could take care of himself. I hate when people blame other people when someone dies. Like people EXPECT someone to just drop dead.

chocolate covered raisins wrote: May I add people seem to forget Janet had mega hits and sold out concerts. I've seen some of her old videos and I can tell you she had a great show and a lot of hit songs. Janet like Michael could dance her butt off. That entire family is talented in dancing and entertaining. The moves seem to come natural to them. I'm listening to Janet's "That's The Way". Janet was a badass back then and she made a lot of money. I don't know how anyone can forget how big of a star she was. The girl was also an actress since she was a child on different shows and also making movies . Janet had a busy career herself and both she and Michael supported each other. I agree she was doing her thing too. |

Janet is an icon in her own right. I think people forget that. Beyonce, Ciara, Aaliyah, and so many others were influenced by her. I think, if anything, it
would make them even closer because they can relate to each other's problems, especially with the media and the iconic status.
And his death just hit me last night. I cried for the first time. I knew it was coming sooner or later cause I was feeling a little down lately but wow, didn't expect to feel like this about MJ. I wasn't a fanatic but yeah, it hit me. |

She's the only other Jackson they really remember here, so everything falls on her shoulders. What's really unfair is that, if anything, she was the one closest to him. To hear people accuse her of the opposite is rotten. |

With all the talk about the kids, and everything else. I'm really starting to get the feeling that Michael was a gay man trying his best to keep it covered
up because of who he was. The weird marriages, the fact that he never had a real partnet that we know of. He might have just been A sexual but I really think
he might have been gay but didn't want to upset his fans.

chocolate covered raisins wrote:I agree. Total speculation on my part here....but he was also very religious as were his parents. I know nothing about JW's but he stated in many interviews and acceptance speeches his belief in God. I also believe his father voiced his dissaproval of the gay lifestyle as well. Above his father though, he may have had serious issues reconciling that within his own head. |

And Joe def. doesn't seem like the type to be ok with a gay son. He totally seems like the type that would have been like 'I'll beat the queer out
of you boy!' Like you said, all speculations.

Unless they were paid some serious, serious cash) I agree with the part about his father not accepting that. No way, no how. Of course, it's possible that he wasn't gay and he was straight (or A sexual) but I was just playing along with your speculation there. But, imagine if he had been gay. That's just more loneliness and more shame he may have felt. |

People kept their mouth closed about his kids for a long time. I would assume the same people would keep their mouths closed about anything else.

the man's body hasn't even found it's resting place and the vultures are all over the place as they were with him alive.
Let the man finally rest in peace and leave him the hell alone. It's as if they didn't attack him enough in the tabloids while he was alive. He's still the best entertainer of all times and a lot of our legends that have passed on had skeletons in their closets just as many of us. It's easy to sit behind a keyboard and say this and that. When we all have things we would rather the world not know. Rest in Peace Michael. |

Did anyone post this yet?
AP: Jackson Finished New Video Before Death LOS ANGELES -- Two weeks before he died, Michael Jackson wrapped up work on an elaborate production dubbed the "Dome Project" that could be the final finished video piece overseen by the King of Pop, The Associated Press has learned. Jackson was apparently preparing to dazzle concert audiences in London with a high-tech show in which 3D images -- some inspired by his "Thriller" era -- would flash behind him as he performed on stage. "It was a groundbreaking effort," said Vince Pace, whose company provided cameras for the shoot, a 3D system he created with filmmaker James Cameron. "To think that Michael's gone now, that's probably the last documented footage of him to be shot in that manner," Pace said. Two people with knowledge of the secretive project confirmed its existence Monday to the AP on condition they not be identified because they signed confidentiality agreements. They said it was a five-week project filmed at Culver Studios, which 70 years ago was the set for the classic film "Gone With the Wind." Four sets were constructed for Jackson's production, including a cemetery recalling his 1983 "Thriller" video. With 3D technology "the audience would have felt like they were visiting the 'Thriller' experience, like they were there," Pace said. Shooting for the project lasted from June 1-9, with Jackson on the set most days. The project was in post-production, at the time of Jackson's death, and had been expected to be completed next month. It was not immediately clear what would be made of the video footage now. Producer Robb Wagner, founder of music-video company Stimulated Inc., did not immediately return a message seeking comment on the project. Michael Roth, a spokesman for Jackson's Los Angeles-based promoter AEG Live, said he hadn't heard about the production but did not rule that it could be part of the company's contract with the entertainer. According to one of the people with knowledge of the project, a willow-thin, pallid Jackson left a memorable impression on the crew, arriving in a caravan of SUVs with hulking security guards in tow. The person said Jackson introduced himself to workers on the set and walked with a spring in his step but at one point needed assistance as he descended steps off a stage. Besides the cemetery, one set was draped in black with an oversized portrait of Jackson in his "Thriller" werewolf costume. Another set was designed to simulate a lush jungle, and a fourth was built to replicate a construction site, with a screen in the back to allow projection of different backgrounds. Taping took place in marathon sessions ending early in the morning. One scene filmed on the construction site set included scantily clad male dancers wearing carpenter's belts. According to Stimulated's Web site, the company was hired to produce screen content for Jackson's planned comeback concerts in London. Stimulated has worked with Def Leppard and the Pussycat Dolls, and produced content for the Academy Awards and the Emmys. Last year, U2 released the concert film "U2 3D," a film of the band's 2005-06 Vertigo tour, shot at several shows in South America with 3-D technology. At the time, guitarist The Edge told The Associated Press the 3-D technology allowed "the songs to shine through." |

Uh so people are blaming Janet for Michael's death?
Janet and Michael were very close but they definitely had long periods of not speaking or seeing each other due to their touring and things like that. Whenever Janet spoke about it, she never had animosity towards her brother, she explained it as such though, further in the years they were busier and busier. I still don't think Mike was gay though, call it denial, but I think he had some traumatic experiences. I don't believe his mindset filled with wonders of innocence in nearly everything would have allowed him to take part in something as carnal as sex. |

People are freaking about Joe not being in the will.
How many people write a will, anticipating that their parents will outlive them? Not a whole lot, and if he wrote it in a time of better health? Not likely that he would have "left" things for Mom and Pops... since in theory, he would outlive them. Common sense! Oh wait.. never mind. lol |
