It took me a long time to watch the whole thing when I was little. The second she ran into the house, I would run from the room and cry because I was so scared
Then little by little I'd stay a little longer...and finally saw the whole thing. I felt so proud of myself

I remember watching the "making of" which made it less scary for me. I was about 5 or 6 when I remember first seeing it. Which was about 12 years
after it came out..

I was able to watch the whole thing through. Scary but I loved scary stuff. I can see how a it might freak a kid out though.
