My friend got an iphone not long ago...but AIM isn't built into it, so you have to download it. Well.. when they go to download it, it says that there isn't enough room on the phone. But there isn't much on the phone at all. Does it really not take much to fill it up? Or does the phone sound messed up?

Posts: 7051 (06/29/2009 7:54 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	Sounds like a phone issue because the AIM app is not that big for ANY iPhone and you would have to have it full to like, the absolute brim for there not to be enough space. Your friend can also double check how much space is on the phone by plugging it into the computers and looking on iTunes to double check. I'd suggest going to a Genius bar at an Apple store or maybe looking online.

Posts: 560 (06/29/2009 9:21 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	either she's not downloading the APP OR did she read the message wrong? certain apps can't be downloaded in the APP program. they need to be downloaded on iTunes then put on the phone via USB cord. they're too big to download via wireless. not sure if AIM is one of these or not though...

Posts: 1349 (06/29/2009 12:09 PM) Generous JJBer '09 Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	If software wasnt established properly, there could be an issue with apps showing the space they take up in the phone but not in iTunes(i had this issue a few days back) so he/she wont be able to add anything. Have her first make sure she has an itunes account set up on her phone/computer, then try to download from the mobile app store. if that doesnt work, have her go on itunes, download the app from the app store and then sync her phone.
