1:25 onwards is just genius. 4:45 is a demo for ABC that I've never heard before. I quite like that version!

Aww the carriage and horse drawn is so fitting for Michael. Hope it's televised.

The carriage is so fitting for Michael. I don't want to intrude on the privacy of the family, but I do, too, hope it's televised - he is their family
but I feel like the whole world is mourning, too. It's like, he was a part of all of us.

Everytime I come in here and see the pictures I get
sadder. I'm listening to Bad right now and gah the timing was just poo. I never knew about his Pepsi commercial accident until now(because I wasn't
alive) but that makes me really sad too.

Actually I think a photog took the picture and sold it, cuz a bunch of paps nearly got ran over by the ambulance sticking their camera up to the window and snappin away. |

They keep you in the freezer till the funeral. That keeps you from deteriorating while the family makes arrangements.
I'm guessing it's taking a while to get everything ready. I'm guessing it's going to be a big event. When my father in law passed away in January, he died Monday evening and we had his funeral that Wednesday. We just wanted to get him put to rest ASAP. Us picking out the music took the longest because every song I would play for my mother in law would make her cry to hard and she would say no. Anyway...looks like he might have a Michael approved funeral. I sure hope everything goes down. If he is not cremated he's going to have one of the most popular grave sites in history. |

Whyyawanna wrote: I'm no expert, but based on personal experience you can still have an open casket for at least up to 2 weeks after death as they still do things to preserve the body in the short-term. I don't know if any of you have ever been to an open-casket funeral but I do NOT recommend it. It's not the last image you want to see of a loved one. So I hope if they do any type of public display it's a closed casket with a photo of him next to it.

Also, they use that stuff to 'bomb' the body.
Anyway, to lighten the mood.... |

alina negreanu wrote: That was really, really touching. No matter what we think of Joe Jackson, it's important that at some point, Michael and Joseph made their amends. Like my dad, Joe Jackson doesn't 'do' emotion. When my baby brother died just over a year ago, my dad did his crying alone, in his room. Never in public. He was stoic, gruff, and stone faced and talked about anything BUT my brother. Seeing the family go through this is bringing all the emotions of my brother's death to the surface. It's a tough time, and everyone is kind of in a fog. Next month they won't even remember things they said or did... they're just putting one foot in front of the other, because tomorrow's gonna come, and the next day, and the next. Anyway. Thanks for sharing that. I loved Michael, but I wish I'd paid more attention to him when he was alive. |

He and Janet have such a calm nature, when they put people in line you really want to listen to them (towards the end he responds to the "Wacko
Jacko" tagline)
