There's a rumor BET cut Chris from the MJ tribute tonight.

Don't they call Chris Brown Breezy? If so, then yes he is performing tonight. They had it on their website saying spread the word around.

Having Chris there, whose only remorse I see is how it has affected his career, demeans MJ and his music and all that he stood for. |

I hope they do take him out. This night isn't about Chris and his drama. It's about MJ. Having him there is getting talk for the wrong reasons.
Everyone will be talking about his return, the drama, Rihanna etc. We all know he would have been great, but it's too soon. Having him perform, is going to
taint the event IMO.

Where would this so-called backlash come from?! BET doesn't get much viewership as it is so there wouldn't be too much of a loss.
I think he should perform.

That sucks. Chris Brown should have performed. Watching this show right now, they could use a good performance. All the performances so far have been...eh.
Just ok.
Either Wade Robson or Chris Brown should have done the MJ tribute and could have saved this weak awards show. |

Guess we know this wasn't true. There was no tribute performance for him to be cut from. BET dropped the ball altogether.

Wow, nobody can do Michael's moves without looking completely ridiculous. I laughed at Wade in that video and he didn't even do a bad job. The moves
just don't look right on anyone but MJ.

I heard Jay-z shut down the Chris Brown performance. Not surprised

I'm mostly mad at BET that I got not nary ONE real kick or spin. I at least KNOW that Chris would have given me that, Jay Z gave me nothing. |

I don't like Chris Brown but why cut his performance and let Drake/Lil/Wayne perform together in an almost all-censored performance? They looked and
sounded so dumb.
Jay-Z's performance wasn't exactly fitting either (I'm mad he lipsynced) but it was hot either way. Beyonce is so annoying but she worked that dress. Anyone know who designs it? |
