It has pretty great reviews and I'm seriously thinking of getting one (I like the white). But I'd love it if anyone has any thoughts on it.

I do! We got that one (in white!) about three weeks ago.
So far, we really like it. It's faster than I expected, although not as fast as our other, larger notebook that has the same size HD. But it goes fast for being so small, and we're on a wireless network here at home. The screen is very bright and clear. The webcam is surprisingly clear, too. The only complaint I would be able to come up with is that because of the size/shape of the screen (10 inch and rectangular), it is stretched out sideways, as opposed to a square/normal screen. And, of course, the keyboard takes a little getting used to, but after only a few uses, we were adapted to it. I definitely think it is worth the cost. It is VERY light and portable. We're thrilled with it
Let me know if you have any other questions! |

Thanks for the info, Fallen. Is it hard to get used to the smaller screen after using a regular-sized one...do you find yourself leaning forward to see it? I'm glad you said the screen is bright and clear--a few reviews said the screen was a little dark. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it? I've only seen it online so far. |

I'm on mine now and I love it. It's become my main computer because I can take it anywhere. My only peeve about it is the no DVD drive, but that's
such a non-issue really. Well worth it and for the price you really can't go wrong! A larger version with this memory and all other features would be at
least double the cost.

Parley-
Nope, I don't lean forward or strain to see it. If it is running only on battery power, the screen is dimmer than if it is plugged in. Power/battery saving feature, I am sure. But still easily viewable. And to expand on what GerberaDaisy said about the dvd drive- we priced an external dvd drive and you can get them for about $60. We figured, since it's not something we use all the time, we could purchase one separately and hook it up if we need/want it. I got mine at WalMart. They had one set up and running so we could test it out before we bought it. They also had some 11" Acers for about $60 more, I think. If you have a WalMart near you, go by and check one out. I don't think you will be disappointed. |

I'm actually on my sapphire blue AAO right now. I really love it. I have no complaints at all.

Yes, I do have a WalMart nearby. Maybe I'll go tomorrow and check it out. And that's good to know about the external DVD drive. Thanks again!
