My fiance usually pricks it with a pin and sees if it pops, if not it's left alone til it gets the white head or whatev.

I just had this huge painful under the skin pimple under my lip. I googled what to do and I ended up putting Epsom salt in a hot wet wash cloth on it for
awhile. It helped.
