He had prior engagements overseas and it's not like he'd be performing, he has no music out. He's there because gee, he is one of the first artists that comes out of people's mouths when they talk about MJ's influence on music. The last two days all I've heard is Justin and Usher, Justin and Usher. He was invited, was a friend of Michael's, and wants to be there to pay tribute to him. If he does it, he has every right to. Nobody cares that you don't like him.

Some of you are all over something that isn't even that serious. I would just like to say that BET is Black Entertainment Television not Blacks Exclusive Television. Blacks are entertained by more than just "black music". Justin can sing wherever he is allowed to sing without prejudice. This isn't the 60s people. Get over yourself. If BET wants him there, he can be there. They have played his videos & even did a tv special on him. Madonna has been on BET's 106 & Park. Should she be banned too because she's white too? Watching them perform "The Way You Make Me Feel" - you could see it, and when she presented him with that birthday award, there's a picture of them holding hands thats so heart warming.
