flummels wrote:Yeah I noticed a line about Justin being one of the people being thought about to take part in some tribute show type thing. Sounds like the fans just talking and throwing out some ideas about which acts could take part, hardly Justin suddenly doing a 50 date tour instead of Michael. Anyways I'm not sure whether even lining up a whole slew of artists to do tribute shows would work for the full 50 date tour. I could see people like Justin, Usher, Beyonce etc lining up to take part in maybe a few shows but the whole tour? I suppose if they got enough different acts together then maybe it could work. The Jackson 5 and Janet may be a better idea as (although I don't know what Janet is doing) the other guys wanted to do a tour anyways. I'm not sure if I would actually go though, any of the ideas doesn't really sit well with me personally. |

Yeah, I don't think Michael would want the man that helped ruin his sister's career doing this. Just...ew. What a dumb ass idea!

It's crazy how he sold out 50 concerts to all be done in the same city. Especially for how much people liked to charge to see him... |

I think it's really sweet of Justin as well as the other stars that are stepping in to do this. OBVIOUSLY no one could come close to Michael. It's all about honoring him and his craft, as well as his family. |

AIG said yesterday they're going to give full refunds to the ticket holders. Details will be announced next week.

I think refunds should be issued, people who spent all that money spent it to see MJ. If I'd payed it just for a bunch of other artists to show up, I'd
rather my money back.

People payed money to see MJ, if they wanted to see Justin or Beyonce they would buy tickets for their own tours. I think it's best to refund people.

Given how much money people stand to lose and how many people (not just fat cats) will be affected by the loss of revenue, I think it'd be nice for a
tribute show to go ahead instead with fans being offered the chance for a refund if they want.
