I don't know why, really. But I just eventually decided "Nah, didn't do it." And I don't really remember if I ever believed the second case was true or not, but if I did, I eventually decided that was a fat load of horse shit too, because that's how I've felt for a long time. The man was kooky and did some weird and/or inappropriate shit, but I don't believe he ever went there.

He wound up anorexic and addicted to drugs (pain killers - barbituates, etc.) afterward because he was so upset about all of it. The second trial was clearly a vendetta against Jackson by Sneddon and a failed extortion attempt by the family of Gavin Arvizo. OJ was playing golf. Michael damn near killed himself. I thought I remembered somewhere that the mother of the 2nd boy (Gavin I think?) lied and told MJ and many others her son had cancer in the first attempt to extort money and when MJ's people started to get suspicious and ask for proof of the cancer is when she made the child abuse allegations. Don't shoot me....it was a long time ago. LOL I remember reading the stuff about Sneddon though....and uh....yeah, he had a vendetta and a half against Michael.

With the first one, I would've taken that case to criminal court not civil court .. And the second not at all. Didn't the little boy still hang out with Michael after that "documentary" came out with him holding his hand?

I do think his level of fame and wealth caused him to see the world outside and conflicting with societal norms but IMO I don't think anything inappropriate happened. If I'm wrong, I'll never know. Like someone said, it's between him and God now. What's sad is that these allegations will forever overshadow all the good the man did and accomplished.
