If memory serves me right, wasn't he a copy of her deceased son? I think she was hesitant because it was a little weird and she was unsure of the whole
situation, but then she fell in love with him of course and accepted him before she had to let him go....
I could have totally made that up but that scenario popped into my head when I read your question. |

I was thinking that, but they showed pictures of the deceased son, and it wasn't the same person. The picture of the deceased son was the actor who played
Lizzie McGuire's little brother (if you ever watched that, lol), not Haley Joel Osment.
