It's been a long time since I've seen a theater that packed. I still see him as that little guy from Even Stevens. Good for him.
Or good for the machines? |

Ehh...I think these movies would be popular regardless of who starred in them. I STILL see Shia as the little kid from Even Stevens. Dude looks like a 14 year
old with facial hair. I do not understand the sexual appeal.

I think it's the machines. I would guess 90% of those people don't care who is playing the human rolls

It's a summer blockbuster about a popular franchise. Had little to do (if anything) with Shia

Yeah, it's weird to see the kid from Even Stevens as a big young actor.

He's the only reason I watched the first one. And he'll be the only reason I watch the new one.

I saw it for Shia and because I loved the first one. But I also think Shia is an amazing actor, and yes have had a crush on him since Even Stevens.

I think the percentage of people that saw Transformers FOR Shia LeBouf is less than 5%. Anyone could have been in these movies, it's not exactly hard to be
in a blockbuster movie with tons of CGI and shiny things.

It's safe to say Transformers would be a huge hit with or without him, but he IS a huge star now because of it.

Optimus Prime over Shia.........

insomniac19 wrote:Shia is a great actor, unfortunately he has chosen to do movies now that are more about the action and plot more than his acting. I agree you put anyone else in that role, and the movie still is huge. He should start mixing it up...He was Oscar worthy in " The Greatest game ever played" |

I don't care for Shia but I went to the premiere and I can tell you Shia got the biggest yells/screams/whistles, twice as loud as Megan Fox. So I don't
think people didn't see it for him, he does have fans.
The movie sucked anyway, so I agree about the majority of fans saw for bots. |

Some of his upcoming projects are going to be nothing like this.

I saw Holes and Disturbia for him. I actually watched the first Transformers because of him. But I actually really liked the movie so I saw the 2nd one because
of him AND the bots. Megan Fox sucked so much worse in the 2nd than the 1st.
