I pray that the issue of their custody won't turn into a circus. It'll be traumatic as it is, no need to add extra stress by juggling them around or separating them.

I think he knew how much his fans loved him, and I do believe he loved back. He often got himself in trouble for doing things for/with fans. Like the baby
balcony incident. As dangerous as it was, I do believe in his heart he only wanted to give his fans a peak of the baby. I guess better he do it willingly than
have people climbing trees to try and sneak a shot in. Like everyone he made mistakes. But people still loved him and loved to mock him. Jay Leno, David
Letterman, ect... should all thank Michael for the amount of material they got from making fun of him. All they did was make him even more famous.
It's really sad. No matter where you go online, radio, or tv you cant get away from him right now, so you can't get him out of your head.

They aren't giving official cause of death until toxicology report comes back. That will be 4-6 weeks.

chocolate covered raisins wrote:Wow...I don't know about that. It pains me to disagree with you because frankly your version is much nicer. I just feel like he felt like the whole world was against him. He was such an admitted sad and troubled soul. He was thin skinned and deeply affected by the words of others. The seclusion....the nerves and stress he faced to perform again and if it happens to be true, the high doses of life numbing drugs....it just all shows a man in such a downward spiral of loss, loneliness, sadness, fear and betrayal. I don't think it is possible to be that low and still feel the love...

Where is Diana? Ross, I mean. I wonder if she'll appear at the awards on Sunday.

EJFiederer wrote:I do agree with some of that but I still think he may have realised how much his fans loved him in the end even if only briefly. I think he probably had times with all the bad press and his personal demons where he doubted it but with the way those shows sold out like that after such a long time away and how excited he seems to have been and the way the fans still reacted to him when he went out, I think he may have felt it. Understandably, he was probably as fearful as he was excited for those shows. I was wondering about Diana as well. |

I think from what he had in regards to fans, respect and love and where he felt he was with all that right before he passed was two complete opposite
feelings.

I'm switching channels to get a break and I happen upon VH1 classic. I caught the end of Gone Too Soon featuring video of Ryan White. Tears start again!!!
I was hoping to avoid "Gone too Soon" and "Have you seen my childhood". because that'll just be the point where I couldn't take it anymore. |

Has this been posted yet?
At the White House, President Obama spoke with his top aides on Friday morning about Michael Jackson's unexpected death. The White House did not release a statement of condolence, which is common for the deaths of many prominent Americans. "I talked to him about it this morning," said Robert Gibbs, the president's press secretary. "Obviously, Michael Jackson was a spectacular performer and a music icon. I think everybody remembers hearing the songs, watching him moonwalk on television during Motown's 25 anniversary." He added, "The president also said he had aspects of his life that were sad and tragic." |

I'm surprised Oprah didn't hurry up and do a tribute show. I bet that will be coming next week.

It doesn't matter. Michael Jackson just died. Oprah HAS to come back and do a show.
