everyone keeps bringing up his scandalsWell it was a big part of his life too. To discuss his life without bringing that up would be incomplete. I'm far more sad about this than I would have thought. Just seeing the words on the tv screen with his name and the birth and death year, it's just shocking even though when I saw that it was 2 hours after I heard the news. All this media coverage shows how much of an icon he was but I can't help but think it just shows how we can't give celebrities any dignity in death. I heard someone on cnn say earlier that he wasn't just an icon, but he's an historical figure. I find myself agreeing with that. |

I can't find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael's passing. We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop
music but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the
things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

I still can't believe this happened. It's really unbelievable.
