I have cried SO much and I'm not one that gets emotional over celebrities or anything but Michael WAS my childhood. It was so hard to process this for me. Watching these videos on MTV has helped. Remembering him for the genius he was. He was the greatest of all time.

I hope that makes some sense and I apologize if it doesn't. It's just that I absolutely understand where she is coming from and as a matter of fact, said something similar to my little brother just a few minutes ago. I am 30 and he is 26 so we are part of that generation of kids that grew up adoring MJ in the 80s and 90s. As I get older, I realize that the singers and actors that I admired as a child are getting older too, even if they are only in their 50s and 60s now. The idea of any of them dying isn't so far-fetched.
