Watch out with anything by Citibank. When I had them as one of my first cards, andwas late on one payment they hiked my APR up to the maximum, like 28% or some
shit.

Just putting you in check. |

I am very responsible but the sad thing is that isn't always the reasons you get credit which sucks. I just like to have some back up in case of an emergency or what not. Its not like I will spend spend spend lol.. I am not like that.. But you are awesome guys

babydtc23 wrote:lol ok. And you're an idiot...all credit cards will jack up the rate exceptionally high when you are even 1 day late on a payment, not just citicards. It's called the default rate which you apparently know nothing about. I don't think it's best you should be in this topic Just exercising my holier than
thou attitude!
And I've never lied about anything so thanks

DoesThatSparkle wrote: Wow, you are a bigger nutjob than previously thought. Not all credit
cards jack up the APR after just one day late payment.LMAO! Most of them wait at least until the next billing cycle. Ever heard of a grace period, some
credit cards have those too. Being one day late does not take you to that high of a rate, and most of the time the default rate IS NOT even close to that high,
but is usually what they have as the current rate at the time for purchases.
So if you signed onto the card with a 5.9% APR and you default on payment it can go to the current rate which maybe 9.9% or 15.9%, but very rarely does it go to the extreme high rate of 28%. Oh and you have lied about what you look like and where you live.

I was going to go with Citi or US bank. I only plan on spending $50-100 a month and paying it all off.

CapitalOne.
That was my first ever credit card. It doesn't have any perks or anything, but the interest rate is 8.9%. |
