Yes - I don't need to use headphones but I do to block out certain coworkers.

Yup, I usually listen to my iPod. We're all watching TV and youtube videos and stuff all day anyway so it's just more noise.

Technically, it's against the rules. Our senior lets it slide if we only have one earphone in and we still respond to other people when they talk to us.

I can listen to it without headphones. I just can't have it up too, too loud. I only have it loud enough where I can hear it.

I work at a doctor's office and we have a light rock station on all day.

Yes -- with or without earphones is fine, I just have to keep the volume low when I don't use earphone (although like now over the summer, all the offices
around me are empty so I could probaly throw a party and no one would notice

Yes and either with or without headphones is fine. I listen to mine with headphones but since I use earbuds, I only keep one in so I can still hear.

Yes and without headphones. I have my own office. I have a doorway that leads to another office with someone else but she doesn't mind the music. She
actually misses it when I'm gone.
I can't have it too loud or the person next to me will complain. I have a subwolfer. He doesn't appreciate the thumping very much so I have that turned way down and the two desktop speakers turned up. It passes the day. I do a lot of data entry and some really mundane stuff sometimes. I go crazy if it's quiet.

I don't really think I'm supposed to, but I listen to music quietly with headphones.

I listen with headphones often.
Occasionally, the girl next to me listens to jazz or oldies or whatever without headphones that you can hear throughout the office suite, but there's one guy who complains all the time, so we only do it when he's not here. |
