A radio report said that TMZ's servers crashed a couple of times and there have been access problems due to heavy traffic. I never thought a gossip site would ever get this much credit and acclaim.

They were the first to report he was rushed to the hospital and the first to report about his death. CNN is still quoting other media: Superstar Michael Jackson has reportedly died, according to media reports including the Los Angeles Times newspaper.

They obviously have paid sources in hospitals and police stations especially in LA. When I was watching BBC World even they said TMZ were credible and if the BBC says so, it is so.

When the news first broke of MJs cardiac arrest, Perez tried to be witty and horrible saying that he was faking it to get out of his tour. And when word got out he had died, the article mysteriously vanished. You just don't pull that crap over someone's else.
