The funeral was for a former coworker. Forty-three years old. She was the coolest, funniest chick I'd ever worked with. One time she was giving a new salesman a line of bullshit about the condoms we sold for vending machines. We only had one kind. But she told him she needed to know if they wanted small, medium, large or jumbo? Did they want colors? Then after she asked him all these embarrassing questions, she asked if they wanted any rubberbands. He said, "What do they need rubberbands for?" She told him it was to hold the condom on for those men that had tiny penises. I swear, we all almost peed our pants from laughing about the conversation. I worked with her for about 7 years before her alcoholism started to take a toll. She had to quite about 11 years ago because she couldn't handle the stress of staying sober during the day. She wasn't able beat it. She started having seizures several years ago and they think that's what happened this time. Her husband found her when he got home from work. Such a waste.

When Kristinia DeBarge came out with Goodbye, I read some posts on JJB that was making fun of her, saying here was another no talent pop singer and what a waste the song was. I LOVED the song. I heard a clip of her singing Reflections (Mulan) when she was on American Juniors. She definitely has talent and comes from a very musical family. I think her uncle was Janet Jackson's first husband before her family had the marriage annulled. He's the guy she was rumored to have had a child with. Or at least I think.
