and once again Christian Bale is over-shadowed by his co-star. However, I'm proud of him for leaving behind his monotone voice. Johnny did really well in
the movie..some parts had the audience awwwing and clapping for him, which was great considering the movie was a tad bit long.

I agree! Oh man, before the movie started Johnny and Christian came up to the front and were standing 10ft away from me, I nearly died so when the movie
started it was like an overload.
Christian Bale wasn't really memorable for me in the movie. Johnny is just too good/smooth he overshadows everyone lol. I loved it though. |

The look of the film is great. My only real complain, again, is the lack of character development for a film over 2 hrs long. One example is that we never
understand why/how Marion's character falls in love w/ Johnny's character.

its 2 hrs and 10 min. The pacing of the film and the fact that it felt like they could've taken certain parts out and replaced it w/ more relevant material
made it feel super long.
