I'm almost finished with the first season (I haven't watched the season finale yet) so no spoilers please But there are a few things that bug me: 1) I feel like Nancy barely pays attention to her kids! Silas is having sex at age 16 and Shane is always getting in trouble at school. Plus the brother-in-law is banging random women and smoking pot while the kids are home. But Nancy doesn't seem to care. I can tell she loves her kids, but it just seems like she's never around, and when she is home she's not even paying attention to what her kids are doing. For example, when Shane fell off the roof, Nancy probably should have been paying attention to the fact that her elementary-age son was on the roof all alone. 2) The brother-in-law annoys the hell out of me. He just seems like a total douchebag! 3) In the episodes before Nancy started the "bakery" didn't anyone wonder how she was making money without actually having a job? 4) Is there supposed to be sexual tension between Nancy and Conrad? I wonder if they're going to hook up.

I got the first two seasons at Target around Christmas and they were really cheap. My uncle watches it and we talk about it all the time, lol. I also love the intro, I think it's genius.

She's had so many chances to just go back to a normal life but she was too greedy I think this is one of the few shows where I actually dislike the main character. Andy has grown on me a little though, I don't think he's as much of a douchebag as he was in the beginning.

They probably assumed that she received money from her late husband's life insurance. Weeds seasons 1-3 is brilliant. Season 4 not so much. Personally I think that the ending to season 3 would've been a perfect one for the series. And yes, Nancy is a bad mother.

In the beginning she was irresponsible and maybe not the best mother ever. But now? They've turned her into the worst mother in the world who just doesn't give a shit about her children at all. It's bugging me so much.
