IESB.net has managed to confirm with 20th Century Fox that they have hired screenwriter Kyle Ward (whose only previous script sale was for the upcoming Fiasco Heights) to pen the sequel to 2007's Hitman. Fox is said to have heard a number of concept pitches about the sequel, and liked Ward's take on the material the best. Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon will return as producers.

The first film, which cost only $24 million to produce, proved an international box office success, and also reached $40 million domestically.

I liked the first one and the DVD is AWESOME to fall asleep to (The menu plays Ave Maria....lol) will only watch if Olyphant is back.
