How is this possible? Lots of movie up until he meets Russel is sad, imo. Even the part when he's isn't sad to you?
So anyways Shayme, I saw the movie and...I will NEVER underestimate my children's comprehension again. They knew what was going on from beginning to end. Oh, and for the previous poster, I never said the movie was not going to be good so what are you talking about? Pixar has changed a lot since the Toy Story era. I don't need a cartoon to keep my interest and to be adultlike and neither does most of the parents I know.Well, I'm not the only one that didn't think it was really a kids movie. I've seen a lot of people say it on various sites. That certain jokes and plots are aimed at adults.
That short before it was amazing! I loved that as much as I love Up!
I wasn't saying that you were
wrong for saying it wasn't geared for kids, I'm just saying that my children understood pretty much all that was going on. It's funny how so many
people say that it's the parent's responsibility to monitor what their children watch, but when we bitch about it we're just a bunch of whiners who
need to shut up and appreciate the adult sense of humor. I swear you can't win being a parent.
