I've done it. It is a lot of fun. You don't have to worry about someone else being late or backing out or whatever. And I can sing and dance without
embarrassing anyone.

I just went to Taking Back Sunday alone and I thought it was gonna suck but once the bands started I was dancing around and taking pictures too much to care
that I didnt know anyone around me...*shrug*

I've never done it, but I would for them. The whole crowd is so crazy and energetic and too busy freaking out when they're performing that you
won't even realize you're alone and neither will anyone else.

I went to the Vegas No Doubt show by myself and ended up sitting next to a really cool girl...we chatted the whole time. Of course I knew a ton of people there
just from going to so many ND shows but i was scared about having a reserved seat by myself...turned out being awesome

I'm heading to Amsterdam in a few days to watch Jason Mraz and Joss Stone. We were originally a group of 5, then the numbers slowly started to dwindle
until I was the only one still set to go. Right now I have a friend trying to score a visa before Sunday so he can come with me-- if he makes it, great. If he
doesn't, no biggie. It's an outdoor concert in the park, so I'm gonna get me a blanket, my iPod, a book and some weed and just chill until the love
of my life takes the stage.
(... and then picks me to sing 'Lucky' with him; falls in love with my charm and shy smile and asks me to continue the tour with him, standing on the sidelines and sending out happy, positive vibes. Eventually we'll fall in love, he'll write several songs about me, we'll have an intense affair and then the fame will become too great for me, at which point I'll have to leave him. He'll write one more song about me, it'll be the greatest tribute to lost love ever to have been written, and we'll probably just hook up again after that. Yay.) |
