So I wanna get my legs waxed...how does it work exactly? |

 I'm sorry for the stupid questions but I figured Id ask. Should I wear shorts or what? How much hair do you have to let grow out before they wax?
edit: im bumping this cause i posted this super late! Nobody's every done it?! (this is the last time Im bumping, I swear )

I've never done it, but I know Kimora did it on her show and she was naked. Just had a towel over her like she was getting a massage

The hair has to be relatively long or the wax won't pull it out. It didn't hurt me that much. It caused my muscles to twitch a couple times. But waxing
has never really bothered me. I actually find it relaxing.

Doesn't matter what you wear. It all depends on if you're getting full leg or half leg You can wear your short shorts or sweat pants.
The hair should be more than stubble, but no longer than let's say.....an eyelash! |

I wish I only had to do half a leg. Somebody once said it hurt a lot to get your legs waxed but people say
that about eyebrows too. And getting my eyebrows done doesn't bother me that much.

3 weeks is the standard time you should let it grow for your first wax. Shorts are just fine, however if you don't want to wear shorts they will have
something for you to change into. If you are going to be on your period or close to it, I recommend taking some tylenol first or delaying a week as you will be
more sensitive. Good luck! I love it
Oh and by the way don't expect a perfectly smooth surface after your first time waxing. It usually takes 3 -4 times to catch all the hair growth cycles and get completely smooth. |

But I don't know if I want to walk into a salon w/ short shorts and hairy legs. That would be a little weird!
