I just finished reading Angels & Demons again, and I was wondering which you like better... After reading both books twice over many years, I think that I
prefer Angels & Demons. I can't really pinpoint why. Any thoughts?

Angels & Demons, although I read them both about two years ago so I can't remember why. I can't wait to see the movie.

I've read them both (also about 2 years ago), and even then I preferred "Angels & Demons." It's just a better story, IMO. A lot more
plausible than "The DaVinci Code," and a lot more suspenseful/action-packed. It sounds silly, but I think I just became a lot more invested in that
story while I was reading it. Made a better movie, too (but I remember thinking when I read the book -- before I read "The DaVinci Code -- that it would
make an awesome movie).

Angels & Demons > Da Vinci Code. Don't know it just speaks to me more. I suppose the adventure and mystery is more appealing because it has basis in
science and not just religion.

I definitely would have to agree with everyone that Angels and Demons was the better book. My opinion is a mixture of the last two responses above. It def. has
a lot more intrigue and suspense in it than the Da Vinci Code.

Angels and Demons.
I felt like DaVinci Code was a lot of 'RUN to your next destination!!!' and then 'sit at destination and talk about backstory and symbols and such until you have to RUN to your next destination!' Whereas A&D was a lot of RUN - Talk on the way - RUN - you have a deadline to get this done. DVC was at everyone's leisure, really. |
