Kate is in major denial as to how this show has aided in the downfall. Yes, they were mismatched and this could very well possibly have happened whether they
did the show or not, but this show was a BIG mistake and it ran way too long.

Are you kidding? Jon doesn't want those kids. He's doing "what is best for them" by moving out of state. He's looking out for himself..
and he doesn't even seem bothered by it. Kate is hardly a saint but she is the one who is going to be with them for most of their growing up. If he moves
to NYC it might start off that he comes down every weekend but that shit will not last.

While I totally agree that this is so completely sad, and that the show was something that accelerated their true differences/problems that lead to divorce
(because I do think Kate is right...they would have eventually got there), I find this part of the show a very interesting piece on the darkest moments of
marriage/divorce. We have so many dating/wedding shows, but I think these interviews between the two are a realer insight for a couple going through something
that is very common now.
