I'm going to Vegas this summer and I'm trying to plan my trip before I go so it's easier to find things.. I'm looking for restaurants but I don't even know where to start! ... What do you guys suggest? Maybe one thats really nice but not overly expensive, and then some that are more average prices. Also what about buffets? Are they worth it and if so which ones?

Depends on what you consider expensive. 2 people costs about $60 but that's with one cocktail each. If you like sushi go to Ra Sushi at Fashion Show Mall.
The Yard House at Town Square has good food too. Brio Tuscan Grille at Town Square is good. I haven't eaten at any buffets so I can't recommend any.
There's lots of good restaurants at Mandalay Bay, the Luxor, The Wynn, The Venetian, The Paris and The Forum Shops but they're a bit more pricey. If
you have any more questions feel free to PM me.

My favorite restaurant in Vegas is Daniel Boulud. Its located in the Wynn hotel. Tao in the Venetian is a great restaurant as well. Enjoy!

I was there last week and went to the breakfast buffet at Planet Holleywood, it wasn't bad price wise. Otherwise we stuck to PF Changs in Planet
Hollywood... Cheesecake Factory at Caesars, Margaritaville on the strip (near Harrahs in front of Flamingo, if I remember correctly). We stayed at Paris but
really didn't eat there other than getting room service and poolside food, but there were a lot of little cafe's inside that seemed reasonably
priced...for Vegas.

The Champagne Brunch at Main Street Station is good and cheap
Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Carluccios in the Liberace museum plaza Don Juan's on Main Street has AWESOME Mexican food, everything is handmade (chips, tortillas, etc..) Little Buddha in The Palms. You have to make reservations, and its expensive |

I just went to Vegas for the first time last week...and I highly recommend The Burger Bar!! It's located between The Luxor and Mandalay Bay. It's
yummy!! And I also loved The Triple 7 restaurant located in The Mainstreet Station Casino. They have delicious food for a very good price!! Have fun!!

Yellowtail at Bellagio - sit on the patio after 8 to see the fountains every 15 min.
Bentero Steak - Encore if you like lobster it is the best. |

I'm not a buffet person.... can't stand them. However when I was in Vegas I did eat at the Belagio buffet and it was really good.

I also suggest The Burger Bar. It was so yummy.
I liked the Bellagio buffet. Good selection. I love Enoteca San Marco at The Venetian. Very reasonable. I had dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant one night and it was incredible (I believe the words culinary orgasm were used at one point.) It was pricey though. But we did the tasting menu, so maybe it's not so bad otherwise? |

Mesa Grill at Caesars, Olives at Bellagio, and some Italian restaurant that I can't remember the name at the Venetian. We stayed at the Mirage and thought
their buffet was good.

Oh yeah we ate at a Mexican restaurant near the Palms, I don't remember that name either but it was so good. I haven't been there in nearly four years!
I want to go back!

Delmonicos are $$$.
Bellagio buffet is all sorts of amazing. I haven't been the Vegas in awhile so I can't comment any more than that. |
