I think his career is perfectly fine with him. I don't think he ever wanted to be a mega superstar.

I love his new CD! He sounds amazing and the songs have a darker tone than his previous songs.
Rob always talks about how his record label tries to push him into going to events and putting himself out there to the media and he always resists because he doesn't want to be famous for being famous. A long career is better than one that burns white hot for a short period of time and then fades away. |

I don't like "Her Diamonds" either and it is the weakest song on his album in my opinion. The rest of the songs are great.
