I really enjoyed last nights episode. Im really enjoying the parts that stray from the books. Oh and the best part was more Eric!!!

Okay, my observations and feelings regarding this new season...
1) I'm over Bill & Sookie. Or maybe I'm just over Bill. Which means I'm over both of them since I never was into Sookie to start, except for what she meant to Bill. They just don't have it anymore. All the butt nekkid vampire sex in the world will not get Bill's mojo back. I don't know where it went, all I know is he had it big time in Seaqson 1 eps 1-5, and then his hair turned bouffant and he suddenly looked a LOT older than he did at the start. It looks like this season, they listened to my hair outcries on the TB boards, but he still doesn't have it going on. Could just be age. Eric is looking better, hotter and more amazing every day. 2) The best part about this show is Lafayette. I was so happy when it wasn't him in that car I can't tell you. He is an amazing AMAZING actor, there is no justice in the world that Anna Paquin got a Golden Globe for her cartoonish Sookie, and Lafayette hasn't even been nominated for jack. I'm ready to wage a campaign to get him nominated for something. He just floors me, he makes me BELIEVE in that world of Bon Temps and whatever else he's telling me. 3) If Alan Ball is a Bill/Sookie 'shipper' as someone said earlier - then he needs to reassess. ..and, yeah...if you told me last year/season, that I would have been posting this sentiment - I would have looked at you like you were crazy. But again, am waaay over Bill & Sook. Sadly. Bring on ERIC!!! ...and bring on someone else FOR Eric besides bug eyed Sook. Ugh. 4) I really like Jason's storyline too. It's hilarious, because it's only a matter of time before he's beddin' down the preacher's wife, you can tell. Hahahaha. That christian concert was so creepy, where that girl was sexily singing 'Jesus asked me out tonight,' hahahaha!! 5) Coolest reason to watch this season: LAFAYETTE BEING A BAD-ASS VAMPIRE. I cannot WAIT!!! |

Here's my take on Bill and Sookie. They need to either lighten them up or give them a break from each other. I think Bill is a very cool character that has been neglected because it's all Bill/Sookie. I love that they are supposed to show more of HISstory this season. Same with Sookie - she was an awesome character during the first have of last season and now it's all BILL, BILL BILL and we dont know who the hell she is anyhmore. She is more likeable in scenes with other people because nearly all of the Bill/Sookie scenes are so heavy with them fighting and her looking like a bitch or him looking like a total stalker. I loved their little chat in bed last week because we finally got to see their playful side. It really was about time and we need more of that before they give us another serious storyline for them. |

Aww...I'm a Bill/Sookie shipper, just like Alan Ball lol. I sincerely sincerely hope that this doesn't turn the way the books went but I definitely
agree that Eric starts growing on me too. I really hope they make Bill more interesting even if they want to go to love triangle route.

Why do I feel like they aren't going to go in the Sookie/Eric direction? I guess I don't really care what they do as long as Eric is on my tv screen as
