I hated Ray too but I thought it was so hot when Carrie was on the phone and Ray walked into her place and said something like "I want to
something-something and go down on you, but not in any particular order".
I liked Berger at first, but rewatching all the episodes on DVD back-to-back made me hate him. They had no chemistry. |

I loved Carrie with Petrovsky simply because she was always so "mememememe", and he refused to cater to that. Like when she came over when he was
working on a project, and he was very short with her. She deserved it.

I hated Alexandr, he was intolerable. I couldn't understand why she'd want to be with such a stuffy cosmopolitan elitist prick.

Okay...here's the thing.
You have to admit that AT FIRST Carrie and Berger were great together. Both writers, he's as witty and funny as she is. Gets long with her friends...it was super promising for a hot minute. Now the Russian. I friggin' loved him and I KNOW I'm in the minority there. Also the last three guys I've dated have been anywhere from 12-24 years older than me so obviously I dig older men. I just found him so sophisticated and sexy and intriguing. Yea, when they went to Paris everything went to shit and by then I was totally rooting for Big to come back. Aidan. I liked him a lot but he and Carrie should have NEVER gotten back together. That just had doom written all over it. We should talk about some of the other girls boyfriends...like Charlotte and Harry. *sigh* Now to me, that is the most perfect relationship on the show. I LOVE the way Harry looked at her, I love that he was a jewish lawyer bulldog and she was this WASP princess. I love that she converted to judaism for him, I love that he totally called her out on her bullshit and left her when she got all demanding and Charlottey. OH! I loved when they got food poisoning when he was trying to be as romantic as the Russian. He was just the best guy on that show EVER! Him and Steve...full of win! |
