... really have a way of rubbing it in people's faces. No offense to military people/marines/whatever and their families, but signatures like this always
make me

I don't personally see anything wrong with it. If it works for them and isn't hurting anyone, then what's the problem?

Imagine not seeing your husband for months at a time and the whole time he's gone you have to worry about whether or not he'll come home at all. They
have to be strong and there's nothing wrong with being proud of it and their husbands.

I think it's difficult to understand unless you've been there. Military life is HARD.

I wonder how lame they would be if their spouse was killed while fighting over in Iraq. I couldn't imagine how it must be for them worrying daily about
their loved one.

I don't think they're lame I think the banners are, I don't like banners. I would never say army wives are lame, I would never understand the lives
they lead.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I never visit boards with all those banners and stuff...they annoy me.

i dated a guy in the marines once, pretty seriously. i would never call myself a "marine girlfriend" or whatever though. i never really wanted to
associate with the other marines' girlfriends for that reason- everything was about the guy and his job. i find the signatures really annoying also. i do
give those women a lot of credit though- they're so selfless, i couldn't do that.

in camo lingerie and posts them as her profile pic.
