Do I still go to work? I work with elderly people that's why I'm really hesitant. Also because I know that no one will be able to cover my shift and my
boss will have to stay. It's father's day so I don't want to do that to him.
I may or may not have pink eye

Tell your boss the situation and ask his opinion. If you do work, wash your hands very often and do not touch your eye!

Well your boss will be able to tell you that.

He is the kinda boss that gets pissed off if you are actually sick and the nurse at work sends you home. He goes "Well, I guess do what you have to
do..." in this snotty tone. I can't stand it.

I work at a hospital and the policy is if you have pink eye you are absolutely not allowed to work. If you come in, they will kick you out. I assumed that was
a universal thing. If you're not sure, call. They might be even more irritated if you go in without saying anything because your boss won't just have
to stay over for you, he'll have to disinfect behind you.

I work in a school and if you have pink eye, you are not allowed to work. But that could just be because I work with kids.

Why ask JJB? I think this is something you should ask your employer.
