There was a bit of gritting the teeth. I didn't think it was going to be that bad and it literally took 10 minutes.

Mine was the first one I've ever gotten and I just sat there like "Is this it?" Easiest tattoo ever.

My wrist didn't hurt that bad, but my back one hurt more than I thought it would.

it could be the coloring.. i know all my black ones were never as painful as my color one even though my colored one is my tramp stamp mid back kinda one.

This was my first. He did it in like 20 minutes and it still looks awesome 6 years later. But I also have stars directly on the sides of my wrists, which hurt a lot, and some on my forearms. But the nautical was definitely the least painful. Maybe that's why I keep getting them. I wasn't scared off by number one.
