How exactly does this work? Do you download the software and it will take you through what you are suppose to do or would I have to go somewhere to do the set
it up or whatever you have to do? Never done this before. I would probably like to use the apps I have now. Direction would be much appreciated.

Goat, when I jailbroke my touch, I used an "untethered jailbreak" method. What does that even mean and how would I go about getting 3.0? In the same
way you mentioned here?

Since ipod touches dont have 3G service, you dont have to worry about that. To get 3.0 installed and jailbroken on your ipod, youre going to use resn0w. follow these instructions |

Anyone able to get their itouch 2nd gen to jailbreak? If so, how did you do it, because it doesn't want to work for me. It keeps telling me it cannot find
the ipsw file. I did a search, but nothing.

Goat, I'm having a problem. I restored my Ipod to fac settings because it was frozen. My apps were all backed up and it's no longer jailbroken. When I
try to use the downloaded 3.0 firmware in a new jailbreak following that video, Itunes freezes and cannot get to the stage of finding the firmware on my
computer. Would you happen to know why it's freezing?
