I am def. not selling on Ebay anymore. This is ridiculous. I should have just sent them to that asshole who won them to begin with if I knew I wasn't going to get paid for them. How can ebay get away with this?

Fuck that. I'm thisclose to emailing these fools back and telling them to just send me my shit back because I cannot wait at least 21 days, or whenever
they feel like leaving feedback. It says it's supposed to be cleared when they receive it but the tracking number says it was delivered at 10 am yesterday.
And then when I clicked on pending it tells me that with ebay sales, they hold your money till you get feedback. And you only get it if you get good feedback.
Meaning if they wanted to be assholes and either no leave feedback or leave bad feedback than they just got $400 worth of cell phones (which I only charged 115
for) for free.

I put it up for a second chance offering, I didn't mail it to the first asshole. After three days of disputing with ebay they finally just deleted the
entire thing. LOL
So, this lady who is really sweet through emails bought them in the second chance offering. And I mailed them to her soon as it said her payment was received. But I didn't notice the hold on it, like the other one did. She said she doesn't know why it's held and that she checked and they have already took the money out of her account as well. It wouldn't bug me so much if paypal would write me back. I guess I was thinking the hold was because of the that asshole. I honestly thought I would get my money quicker if I sold it someone else who seemed honest. I'm not going to try to understand why it's ok to send items and never get paid for them. I'm not going to ebay.com ever again. And the last time it said pending, it said it was pending until I entered shipping info. I've already put in the tracking number, and it even says that it was successfully delivered. So if they know that she received them...why not go ahead and give me my money? I know she is happy with them because she has emailed me three times asking me questions on how to use them and how much she loves them. Yeah, I'd love two free phones as well. |

She didn't get two free phones though. PayPal takes the money out of your account immediately when you make a purchase on eBay.

Oh yeah, I want to email that cocksucker so bad with the reciept from when I did ship it to the lady. I had to pay $5 for the box, and then it was $5.95 for
shipping. Which is only $11 but I figure I got $4 for gas.
And my feedback is 100% Positive. On both buyer and seller. And I went back reread that thread. Maybe I will continue to sell my used baby clothes. But I WILL NOT sell electronics on there ever again. I would rather take them to Speedy Cash pawn shop and only get 25% of what it is worth than go through this bullshit ever again. |

To be fair I have NEVER had this 21 day hold before, but I have also never sold anything that was electronics except for memory cards, and they only were ten
bucks a piece. I should have read up on the difference in items before I listed them. I guess I was thinking everything was the same. And it just so happened
my first electronic sale was to an asshole. I'm going to read that ebay link now. I never read it before. I never even caught up on the last post till now.

I normally just call paypal with the tracking number and they'll usually release the funds right away. But yeah, ebay sucks.

I didn't know they held the money either until this lady I bought something for asked me to please leave feedback as soon as possible so she could get her
money. I usually leave feedback either the same day I recieve my purchase or a day later. I only buy on ebay though never sell because I don't want to
hassle with shipping etc....I usually just give my things away to friend, family or charity.

paypal holds money if you're A: an under 100 feedback seller or B: if you have had problems in the past. you probably fall into one of those categories,
i've never had my money "held" by paypal

Oh, i've had this problem the first time I sold on Ebay. I learnt that if I refund $1.00 back to the buyer, it would release the hold and give you your
money. Don't think you're really 'supposed' to do this...but they shouldn't hold your money, especially if the tracking says they got it.
Anyhow, what I did was explained it to the buyer and told them I was going to give them $1.00 back (make sure you click on 'refund' and put in the
amount you wish to give back....I did this like...2 months ago, so hopefully it should work for you.

Yeah I just re-read this post. If the woman is so happy and has emailed you asking how to use the phones why don't you politely ask her to leave feedback?

I just sold some stuff through Ebay this week and Paypal didn't give me a hard time. I wanted to transfer the funds to my account and it went through. I
should get the money by Mom or Tue according to Paypal. I haven't gotten feedback from any of my buyers.

It applies to certain categories, like electronics.

How much were the items, Samantha? I just sold concert tickets last week for $326 and $286, and mine are on hold too. I've been an ebayer since 2001, but
this is my first time selling something, so I'm assuming that's why. I put a tracking number on PayPal, plus I emailed the buyers today asking them to
leave feedback. I hope I get my money by early next week.

Concert tickets probably have a high level of fraud activity, too. That's why.

This one asshole who bought the tickets from me, already had a listing of my same tickets out the same day! So, they won't even be in his hands very long,
so he better leave my feedback ASAP so I can get my money. Especially if he gets more for the tickets than I did, and I made him some money.
