I'm 24.5 and thought cramps were supposed to die down with age. I'm on Day 2 of my period and having cramps that are preventing me from doing anything
fun today.

The pill has helped a lot, I get them every other month now but they're still as bad as they were when I was 14.

Mine have gotten worse with age too. I used to just get dull backaches but now I get full on cramps.

Yes but I only get them like 2 days of my period and they aren't that bad. They were daily and very painful when i was younger.

I barely ever get cramps, especially since I started on the pill almost 2 years ago. I'll have some basic discomfort still, but cramps are almost
nonexistent. I can't imagine having to deal with killer cramps each month. Sorry to hear about that!

Every so often I'll get hit with a bad month where I get cramps. Those heating pad stickies that attach to the inside of your underwear help a bit with
Motrin

Oh man, I really thought they'd wear off in a few more years
I prefer a dose of realism than optimism, though. |

flatxchewxlate wrote:This. Supposedly BCP and exercise lessen the pain of cramps immensely. I was advised to do either. I get so tired and look pasty yellow on my period. My mom is a couple of years away from her 50s and she still gets killer cramps. I envy those girls who feel no pain on their period. |

Yes but they're very little. Birth Control helped that A LOT.
