I LOVE concerts and some of my best memories EVER are from going to them. I want to take 3 of my nieces to various concerts this summer. Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. I want to get them decent seats so they enjoy it, but know at their ages [2 are 9, one is 8] that floor seats are bad ideas. I figured I could get 4 together this far in advance but I no such luck unless I want to pay thousands of $$ which I don't and cant, really. At the same time I don't want to pay 20 bucks and have their experiences suck because the seats are so awful. Grr makes me so mad that scalpers ever started-even the Miley Cyrus tix which are ONLY paperless are somehow selling on ebay. Rat bastards! Sorry I just spent like 3 hours trying to get various seats and I think it was just all too much at once. AGH! So I bought the Jonas Brothers tickets after feeling bad for a full day, I got the 20dollar seats because...my nieces are young enough I doubt they'll REALLY care but I wanted to make a big deal out of it, but the parents told me just taking them should be good enough. Got good demi lovato seats though so pleased with that, but for some reason Taylor Swift tickets seem to be completely sold out. Its just frustrating that these artists fans, mostly younger kids, have to deal with scalpers. But I got 2 sets of tickets down and 2 to go. I'm panicking a bit because I'm spending lots of money, but it's been AWHILE since I did this so...I'm going to try to relax, lol. Edited By: DirrtyPop 06/21/2009 12:51 AM. Edited 1 time.

No, it's paperless which means you have to have the credit card you purchased it with along with a government issued ID. We bought those for my daughters and got them seats in the balcony

In theory it seems like a good idea but im not sure how well itll end up working out

I don't know if it will actually work that way, though.

I was reading an article that this can be a dangerous thing. Like some guy is selling tickets and says he can get you and your friends into the concert.

The person who buys them from ebay has to go in with the person selling them. I saw others on ebay where brokers are selling tickets. They said that a representative of the broker will "escort you to your seat." That makes me think that ticketmaster is working with some of the brokers for these tickets to be available. Those particular tickets happen to have been some really good ones on the floor, too.

They are doing this at the No Doubt shows this summer if you bought presale through No Doubt and you have a whole separate entrance and have to enter with your whole party, cant leave the line blah blah blah....but yet people are still scalping. I think the scalpers just go in with the people they rip off then leave. Its not stopping the scalping, just making them do it differently
