Have you ever used you grocery store's home delivery system and had them deliver your groceries to your home?

I used Fresh Direct when I lived in NYC. I miss it like a lost child.

I don't order enough to justify paying to have it delivered. It would be like, 2 bags

No. Not only do you pay too much for shipping and delivery, you also pay more for the items you are purchasing ordering that way. Check it out online first.
Not unless you have money to flush down the toilet.

I don't use it, but I have used the drive up service at Wegmans when I end up having two carts worth of stuff and I'm alone. My grocery store is about
a 3 minute drive so I wouldn't get delivery to my house though I do believe they offer it now.

Yeah I understand if you don't order alot of food in the first place to have it delivered. My local store Vons has Home Delivery service. I do agree with
you Chocolate to check online first. There are online specials available for the delivery. Most of the time, you find alot of good deals online. I use to
wonder how people would save so much extra money on groceries.

I used to use it when I didn't have a car and had to get a ton of heavy things like cat litter, milk, detergents etc. It was only $8 so it wasn't a big
deal and so much better than lugging that crap on the bus and then the two blocks from the bus stop to my house. Now that I have a car I don't need to use
it anymore.

Mossumpossum, yeah....$8 isn't bad for delivery. Who did you use?
IdDoJC100Ways, that drive up service sounds nice haha. Since most of the time, people have to go get their car when they have a ton of groceries...or take the cart to the car....then back to the store. |
