Its my best friends birthday and we are taking her 18 month old baby for the first time. Apparently last night they announced that there was going to be some
Lakers at the park today. It's going to be madness and we were looking forward to no lines!!

I follow a few Disneyland-related sites on Twitter and someone posted this picture about ten minutes ago of Main Street:

celebs or no celebs, there are always lines at Disneyland. We waited 3 hours on that Finding Nemo submarine ride that lasted 5 minutes

It's summer and it's Disneyland. There are going to be lines even if Kobe wasn't there

My sister was there earlier this week and it was dead. Week days are always better than weekends, even during the summer. Always.
We are taking the baby because we would probably be going anywyas. He is free, she is going for free, and the rest of us are only paying $45 to get in. Oh, and we only live about 30 min away. Its not like we planned a huge vacation to Disney. |

Just4Justin2005 wrote: Yeah it's like that with any of these amusement parks: Six Flags, Carowinds, etc..and now that school's out for the summer, the lines are gonna be even longer than usual. I don't get taking a baby to these places either. I mean one of you won't be able to enjoy all the rides because at least one of you has to stay with the baby. |

I was at Disneyland a few months ago was standing in line for Autotopia. There was this woman driving a car with one hand, while propping up her infant in the
passenger seat with another. : ohboy

If you're so worried about lines, shouldn't you be there already, not posting on here? The park is most dead in the morning until about noon.

I don't understand people taking huge vacations when the kid won't remember it. Not the case here.
And considering we have lived in SoCal our entire lives, it's kinda natural to me. Oh, and we can enjoy the rides we want to go on. 4 adults and only one baby...you go on the rides in 2's. Its not as hard as some of you may think. Especially when you don't have to pay for a baby to get in...or one of the adults! |

IDK, I see it all the time here in at WDW, and everyone looks miserable--baby parent and me having to hear the kid whine/cry or the parents fight.
