I can't catch a break! Me and a semi-new guy friend made plans to
go to lunch around 12:15, he said he had to shower than run to work to get his check. It's now almost 2... seriously? I'm totally getting stood up. And
he doesn't even deserve a text asking where he is at this point, not wasting my time or emotions.

I wouldn't contact his ass at all, fuck him. No matter what even if he did get caught at work he's not in jail he can make a damn phone call or text.
