I'm 21 and have had a few speeding violations and one not at fault accident and I pay $170/mo. Progressive offered the best price and I looked around EVERY
WHERE.

We have Progressive also. They gave us the best price considering we have an 18 year old driver in the house. Everyone has a perfect driving record though so
for 3 of us we're paying $170/mo with Progressive and we have full collision/glass on all three vehicles.
Progressive....as a side note...bases the rates not only on your driving record and where you live, but on your credit report. If you have average or bad credit, they will not be cheaper. |

I'm with USAA. You can only get it through military or if you are a dependent.
But I've had so many speeding tickets that I've had my license taken away. It was $280 a month before I turned 25 and now it's like $190. |

My boyfriend and I pay $210 a month for full coverage on 2 cars with Erie Insurance. He has one accident and one speeding ticket and the 210 also includes
renters insurance for our apartment. Erie is only available in 11 states though.

I'm glad I don't have any speeding tickets or moving violations and live in NC where car insurance is cheap. I only pay $60 a month for both my car
insurance and renters insurance. Even when I lived in Orlando though I only paid $85 a month.

I'm with State Farm. I pay $74/month. I was paying $200/month at one point...but once I turned 25, the price kept dropping.
AllState or State Farm are what I would go with. Geico is so pricey, I'd never go with them. |

$75/month with Allstate. 2008 Honda Element. One moving violation, one claim under $1000. 22 years old. Nashville, TN.
I was with Zander Insurance and Farmers before and paid well above what I'm paying with Allstate. |

esurance is a good one. and i also just got a quote in the mail for http://survivalinsurance.com/index.jsp
... they quoted me $460 for the whole year. I don't know how they got my information, but it only came out to $40 a month.

Geico is expensive unless you have a clean record and have been with them for a long time.
I have all their discounts and pay $88/month and I've been with them since I was 16. If you have anything on your record do not go with Geico. The only suggestion I have is to not go with Geico.

Keep in mind, everyone could also have different coverages based on their states minimum. If you have a lot of points on your record, no matter where you go
you are going to be paying a lot for insurance, and the company that is cheapest for myself might not be the same for you. Just go to a few companies and get
quotes, that is the only way you will know who is cheapest for you.

They also go by your credit rating now when trying to get car insurance. Not quite sure why, but I do know that they do.
I have Hastings Mutual. I have full coverage on two vehicles and its about 150/month. |
