How upset would you be if you just found out that your boyfriend gave his ex-wife a tattoo? Mind you he promised he never would and he went behind your back

Is he a tattoo artist? I wouldn't care, except that you said he promised not to and lied. I don't get the big deal, but it's obviously an issue
between the 2 of you, and betraying someone's trust is always a shitty thing to do.

He actually did the tattoo. Mind you I probably wouldn't have these issues if he wouldn't have cheated on me with her in the beginning of our
relationship. I just worry that more than the tattoo went on.

Hmm... well I don't think I'd mind if he did the tattoo so much. SHe maybe went to him because she trusted his work. But if he hid it from you, how did
you find out. Plus did he hide it from you because you were getting upset over it? I guess if he already cheated on you with her though, I can understand. But
if you can't trust the guy, maybe this isn't a good realtionship for you either.

not always the action, but the intention behind it.

I found out from her. He hid it from me because he knows how I feel about her. I told him that if he wants this relationship to work then he has to teach me to
trust him. He was going to leave last night because of the fight we got in about this - but he started crying and saying he loved me to much to leave. I just
don't know what to do. I've been hurt so much that I don't know how I would be able to trust any man.

It's not always the action, but the intention behind it. I'm not really pissed about the tattoo part itself. Just the second part as you pointed out. Plus when he first started doing tattoos I told him I wouldn't mind him giving her one as long as I was there too. I don't think that is too much to ask for. |
