I do. From time to time, I wonder what I really look like to people.

I think when people see me, they see innocent and naive. That woud explain a ot of my guy problems bc I probably perpetuate that sense even though that's
not me

I don't want to know what others think of me - it might be too harsh. Some of the thoughts in my head about other people are absolutely terrible; I
wouldn't want to hear those kinds of thoughts about myself.

I wish I could see what others see. I think I'm hideous.

Sometimes I have weird moments where I step outside of my body and can totally see how other people see. It's like a split second, but it's weird.

YES, I do! I have a negative sense of self, yet people always seem to like me. I wish I could see what they see.

I was looking up quotes for work and just came across this
We probably wouldn't worry about what people think of us if we could know how seldom they do. ~Olin Miller |

I some how read this as how many people do you wished you had asked out .
But to answer your real question I do a lot. People seem to like me, but I tend to be really hard on myself and don't see the good stuff enough. I think if I could see what they were seeing I'd relax a little more. |

Yes, I wish this all the time.
But I'm trying hard to get over that and just work on accepting myself for who I am. As long as I'm essentially a good person, that's all that matters. I shouldn't care what other people think about me so much. As the saying goes, "What other people think about me is none of my business."

Yes, so I can correct certain behaviors that would otherwise make me seem uninterested or unfriendly.

I do sometimes...This sounds silly but someone from high school just requested to be my friend on facebook. I started wondering how she remembered me, and if
she thought of me as a friend at the time. I was usually extremely quiet back then, so I got a little curious.

DirrtyBabe wrote:That's so true most of the time. Unless you're very close to someone, you probably pay much closer attention to (and scrutinize) your own appearance and interactions than you do to those of other people. I bet people who go nuts over what they wear to particular events probably couldn't even tell you what many of the other people end up wearing....and the same with conversations. You can play your own over in your head a million times thinking of what wrong things you may have said, while you forget all about what silly things other people may have said that night. |
