They just opened one by us a couple of weeks ago. You can't just drive through, you have to go to a "staging area" at the Target parking lot
(about 2 blocks away), where you wait in line for about an hour (sometimes more) and then they put a colored card on your windshield and you drive down to the
Sonic and order.
Their slushes are good, but the food is so-so. Definitely not worth the wait. |

IO Debbie wrote:You have GOT to be kidding! Sonic is considered....eh... low on the scale of fast food joints around here. You guys in California are LUCKY! You have Carl's Jr. and In-N-Out Burgers, both of which are VASTLY superior to Sonic. Even Hardee's is more popular. And Taco Bell. |

I miss In-n-Out. Do you not have Hardees where you live, Gemma? It's like the Eastern version of Carl's Jr.
...though I'm looking at their website now and they do not appear to have my favorite thing from Carl's Jr., the Santa Fe chicken sandwich.

When we visit family in Vegas we go to Sonic a ton of times since there are like 5 of them within a few miles of my Aunt's house. I dont really care for
the food but the Slushe's are SO yummy

There's one 20ish minutes away from me but I've never been to it. When I was in Virginia I had some sort of cherry/lime drink from there though and it
had fruit at the bottom. It was amazing!

You are right about In n Out tho

Maybe it means you're going to get one. We started getting HHGregg and Red Robin commercials about 6 months before they opened...

Sonic drinks and desserts are fabulous. The rest is mediocre. I made it a point to go to Sonic and get a Javachiller when I was in Texas.

yeah, i'm really annoyed by the fact that we keep getting those commercials, but there are none anywhere near me. i think there might be one in the whole
state.

Sonic isn't all that good. Cherry Limeades are the only thing worth getting. I rarely eat there. You're not missing out on much. There are much better
fast food/sandwich places that you probably don't have that are vastly superior such as James Coney Island, Which Wich, or Firehouse Subs.
