I realize this is an odd question, but I just moved to my own place and need to get my own vacuum. I don't want to pay like $400, but I also don't want
it to be some super cheap vacuum that barely works (like the $20 small ones). What kind do you have? Where did you get it? How much was it?

I like this one a lot. I use it at work every day (not just to tidy up, but to actually suck up tons of food) and it holds up for a long time. Plus the best part (for me) is that the hose is all attached and easy to use. I hate the vacuums where you have to unhook the hose, plug it in, etc. I know most people probably don't even use the hose, but I have to get in cracks and corners at work where people brush their crumbs. |

I have a $50 one from Walmart and it works amazingly, 4 years later I still haven't had to get a new one.

I have the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. It was like $150 at Target but it came with a $20 gift card. It is an awesome vacuum but if you don't have pets then
you might not need something that expensive or powerful. Bissells in general are really good vacuums, though, and you can get some models for under $100.

I got a Panasonic one - but it's more than ten years old so I don't remember the price.

a Dyson something...not sure of the model. Its a yellow upright. My mom bought it so idk the price either, but its pretty good. Funny thing is we have hardwood
throughout the house, so idk how it works on carpet.

Dyson. I think it was like $280 or something because it was a floor model. It's AMAZING.

Dyson DC24. I don't remember the retail price, only that I got $150 off (promotion for store Associates) and then 25% off (which I found out later was done
in error) and then my Associate discount of 15%

I gave up my purple dyson to use a wal mart bissel power something canister(that we found in someones trash with the box, it had a clogged filter and was brand
new),and it whoops on my dysons ass. I was very sad about this but my dyson is now the car sweeper outer.
