I am trying to lose weight so I do about 1200-1500 a day and that all depends. There are days when I dont care adn I know its more like 3000 if we go out to
dinner or something!

It depends. It can range from 400- 3000. It depends on the day and whether Im monitoring my eating and actually forcing myself to eat on certain days.

Wow I feel like a pig compared to the amount of calories most of you eat. I eat at least 2000.

I eat about 2000 and I'm underweight. I eat very healthfully though. I don't know how some of you guys do 1200 daily.

Anyone can determine their individual caloric needs by finding out what their bmr or rmr is, and that number is usually determined by age, sex, height, weight, and lifestyle, so the amount of calories needed throughout the day varies from person to person. |

No idea. I haven't counted calories since I was anorexic. I don't think I have much to worry about because I eat a healthy balanced diet with hardly
any junk food and I'm a long distance runner.

I try to stay between 1200 and 1400. I used to eat 1500 and 1800 and exercise like crazy. I asked my doctor why I wasn't losing weight and he didn't
know. He said to stop exercising and just eat whatever you wanna weigh x 10. So I stopped exercising completely and freakin lost 15 lbs. I couldn't believe
it. Now I've hit a plateau and will probably restart exercising to get a jumpstart.
Edited because I'm clearly having too much wine.

1000-1400, depending on the day. If I eat anymore I gain weight.

Most of you are moderately to severely undereating if your estimates are right (which, if you aren't counting calories, probably aren't).
I eat between 1200-1550. |
