She had to do it for her job. Sure it looks dated but that's the point of the haircut for the movie. It does look authentic though.

They finished casting the runaways btw (I think they decided not to cast anyone too significant for the bassist since the runaways had a few of them).
Kristen -> Joan Jett (co-lead vocalist, co-lead guitarist, and founder)
Dakota -> Cherrie Currie (Lead Vocalist)
Alessandra Toresani -> Lita Ford (Lead Guitarist)
Stella Maeve -> Sandy West (drummer, founder)
I think the girls were around 16 - 18 when they formed the runaways.�
They were never big in the US I think, mostly big in Europe & Asia.� I used to really love Lita Ford and Joan Jett, but mostly after their runaways days. Their famous hit: Cherry Bomb |
